I was having second thoughts about my quotes and felt that “my bounty is as boundless as the sea” should be scrapped as that is the original quote from the play and I haven’t put a typo in it which doesn’t fit in with my insight. I also wanted to have Romeo and Juliet in my visuals to show the juxtaposition with the play and contemporary London and so that viewers of my ads aren’t confused and fail to make the link with my ad to the play.

So, I was back to brainstorming with new quotes I could manipulate and thought of a few:

“Thus with a kiss I die” = “Thus with a hiss I die”/”Thus with a kiss I dye” – Incorporate a snake somehow? or have Juliet dying her hair while Romeo kisses her.

“See how she leans her cheek upon her hand” = “See how she cleans her cheek upon her hand” – have Juliet clean her cheek with her hand possibly with a sponge or face wash.

“What light through yonder window breaks” = “What light through yonder window bakes/quakes/wakes” – Have Romeo and Juliet bake a cake or have a glass with water shaking to show there’s an earthquake, something with an alarm clock?

“Wherefore art thou Romeo” = “Wherefore dart thou Romeo” – Romeo is running somewhere.

“For you and I our past our dancing days” = “For you and I our past our dancing ways” – Romeo and Juliet are sitting and not dancing at a club.

“That I were a glove upon that hand” = “That I were a globe upon that hand” – Juliet is holding a globe of the world that shows a country named ‘Romeo’.

As a lot of these aren’t great or don’t make sense, I went with “What light through yonder window bakes” and mocked up my three illustrations.

For "Partying is such sweet sorrow", Romeo and Juliet would be dressed in their vintage outfits (to show they are out of place and for viewers to recognise that they are Romeo and Juliet), looking sad at a modern day party with people wearing outfits different to theirs and drinking.

This is my attempt to start the real version and testing my illustration skills.

For "What light through yonder window bakes", Romeo and Juliet are baking cakes together in their vintage outfits and there is a light from the window shining on their cakes.

For "A pair of star-cross'd loafers", Romeo is trying on loafers at a shoe store with Juliet, still in their vintage outfits.

The quote would be in the message bubble format in the bottom left and I would have the play info in the bottom left instead of top right which is wear it was before but that looked weird.
