Following the feedback we got from Xavi and Steve. Me and Junaid were set to redo our presentation for our next 10 minute timed pitch with Brian and Steve Lloyd. We had now decided to stick to any type of celebrity that plays golf in their spare time.
We made some rough mockups that we could use for our YouTube channel

We also sorted out our brand identity:

Steve Spacey offered to give his feedback and said to obviously fix the visuals and when I showed him our reference YouTube channels he told us we should copy their style of having gradient backgrounds, stickers and cheeky names for the players in our thumbnails. We wanted to include the 'vs' icon because it's popularly used on YouTube for clickbait thumbnails.

We also looked at creating a logo for Tee Time. We initially liked the idea of having a tea cup being smashed with a golf ball but neither me or Junaid can draw so we retired that dream fast. Then we saw this image of a golf players silhouette in a golf ball and was inspired to put a clock hand inside a golf ball. Junaid suggested adding flames around it because he thought of dragon ball Z. Flames also represent competition and fury. We tried adding an emoji around the clock golf ball but it looked bad so we scaped it and went with our other idea.
We also created a banner for our YouTube channel using our colour scheme and font and thought of the tagline 'Driving a wedge between celebs' which is a cheeky pun on the concept. We used a font named Feast of Flesh which resembles the street fighter which Junaid insisted we should use because it fits in with our clickbait concept. We fixed up our thumbnails according to Steve's advice and included the development in our presentation. We also made a channel page mockup and some merch.
This is all in our presentation that we presented: (read left to right)
We again introduced our insight with some golf research. I just want to showcase our mockups for our YouTube channel because I love them. I used emojis and gradient background but also played around and made some fun edits. I gave all the players a nickname they are known by if they had one. I'm really proud of this lol.
We also made sure that on our channel mockup the video titles also conveyed our tone of voice:

The feedback we got from Steve and Brian was that we presented clear and confidently and it was evident we had practised our pitch beforehand which is a good thing. Our idea is good but our insight could use some work. Our logo needs work but they liked our thumbnail mockups. They said we need to rearrange the slides and seperate all the information from the identity slide to give focus to the more important info. Our merch is shit and our banner could use some work because it is very one dimensional but the tagline is good and we need to fix our social media mockup. We also don't need the slide of potential celebs who play golf and we need to be clear on what content we would have on the channel but overall we are in a good presentation before our final pitch.
